Unboxing and test the new eeepc 1015b on AMD Fussion

My working netbook was stolen - I asked for MacBook Air in return, but they didn’t give money for it - everyone went to a pension fund, then I decided to pick a new asus on amd fusion.

So they brought here such a box.
Asus now makes ecologically fashionable recycled cardboard boxes.

open - and in it there are netbooks in foam rubber

Below the instruction, warranty and power supply - nothing interesting.

Thanks, by the way, to the asus for the correct plug, which weighs no more than the power supply, as is often the case with other manufacturers.

    So, finally, open the netbook.

It looks nice. I note that for a 10-inch netbook, it weighs a bit too much, apparently the case is in a 6-cell battery and a very durable case.
The keyboard is quite comfortable, the touchpad is large and pleasantly rough.

We look at the left - oops! There is an HDMI output - there will be something to entertain yourself, if I get a big TV with a cord.

Well, both the USB output and the VGA output (who needs VGA output now?)

On the right is nothing interesting, Ethernet, Kensington lock, two USB, microphone and headphone inputs, MMC - SD reader.

We start. In less than a minute, windows7 starter becomes visible.

So what do we have inside?
Dual-core AMD C-50 processor. Honest two cores plus Radeon 6250.
We will test with Windows stray

Complaints on cpu. I note that I did not notice much processor braking. Everything flies. I did not notice the difference with the stolen eeepc 1215T, although it may be. Maybe I tested wrong, maybe I didn’t turn off which energy saving.

    Let's look at the CPU-Z

    Here is such a beauty.
    And now on the GPU-Z

Trial Passmark issued 329 parrots to the processor and 220 on 3D graphics. You can play WOW at your leisure.

I put it to play BD RIP - it plays without problems. And on a Full HD TV via HDMI, too, there are no problems, sound and image are in order.

In standard power-saving mode, windows promises me 6.5 hours of battery life. The heat from the fan comes in a good, even flow, and the netbook itself remained cold after 2 hours of operation.

I like the machine, it will lie in a backpack for surfing the Internet on the road. For work, of course, a 10-inch screen is not enough.
