Sony demonstrated technology for split TV images for two people

In other words, Sony Corporation has created a technology that allows you to show on TV a kind of double “picture” when two people looking at the screen see a different image. There is one condition - you need to look a little from different angles, otherwise, of course, our observers will see the same thing. So far this is a preliminary demonstration.
According to the developers, there is a use of such technology - for example, it is very convenient for gamers who play in pairs. Each of them sees their own “picture”, and no one bothers anyone. You yourself know how inconvenient it is to play the same races when the screen is divided into two parts. Of course, gamers have to put up with this for now, but in the future, perhaps this problem will be solved.
Sony demonstrated new technology on a 55-inch Bravia TV line, using the Killzone 3 game running on the PS3 game console as an example. In principle, such a technology can be useful not only for games, but also for watching two TV channels simultaneously.
So far, the technology requires “refinement”, because, according to the developers in its current form, it is only suitable for demonstrating the possibilities of this idea, but not for constant use: the observer’s eyes are very tired, an unpleasant sensation appears in a couple of minutes.
If the technology is recognized as promising, I think we can expect its “refinement” in the near future.
