Semi-official update to Android 2.2 for HTC Legend
In anticipation of a new firmware, I tried to follow all the news on this topic and finally it happened.
The other day, users of the Vodafone operator have access to the HTC Legend firmware update to version 2.2.
Accordingly, almost immediately the guys from MoDaCo reassembled it, removed the unnecessary vodafone applications, added their own, including the super user, and posted it on their own .

Installing Wipe is optional. All settings and applications were left untouched.
The main noticeable changes for me:
- there is a push api, it remains only to wait for the appropriate applications;
- api allows you to collect network statistics, respectively, such a wonderful application as Network TrafficStats will work;
- Improved google maps and market;
- you can transfer some applications to the memory card without additional manipulations (the “Angry Birds” flew there first, but skype couldn’t be transferred). Only after rebooting the phone, the shortcuts of the transferred applications are updated for about five minutes;
- they also say that you can install Adobe flash 10.1, but I do not need it, so I did not check it;
- appeared support for "live wallpaper";
- appeared Dalvik JIT, but I did not notice the increase in speed;
- finally, a LED flashlight has started working on the phone;
- there are auto-update applications;
- Now there is WiFi tethering support right away;
PS: I often make many mistakes when writing, so don’t kick much, if you see errors that are critical for you, write in a personal letter - I will correct it.
