Samsung Galaxy Tab. Unboxing and first impressions
I got not so long ago for testing the Samsung Galaxy Tab - almost the only decent tablet on OS Android 2.2 with a capacitive screen to date. I plan to make a number of materials devoted to this device - if it will be interesting to the audience. Sorry for the quality of the photos - I shot using my Nexus One.
I'll start with the simplest - Unboxing or what it looks like “out of the box”

Side view:

The same box, bottom view with a description of some characteristics of the device:

For those who can’t see the specifications from the official page of the device
Android 2.2 platform (Froyo)
CPU CPU frequency: 1 GHz
Design: Monoblock with touch screen
Display: TFT technology (C-type)
Resolution (pixels) WSVGA (1024x600 pixels)
Size 7.0 "
Battery 4000 mAh
Camera 3 Mpix
memory microSD (up to 32 GB)
C-type touch screen (capacitive)
The device itself comes primarily in the box:

It is a side view (to assess the thickness)

On the edges:
Top - headphone output (as well as Galaxy S and Nokia- the ability to also output video from this jack)
Left: Lone microphone
Right: Unlock / power button; Volume rocker, slots for MicroSd (in my case 16 Gb) and Simka (regular, non-kosher, uncut; -)) -. are closed with rubber caps
bottom-dynamics and wide and flat connector (painfully remind s similar to the IPhone)
Rear view (still with the film)

Under the device in the box - a minimum set of accessories - charging for USB; USB special port cable; headphones with a set of rubber tabs:

First impressions: The
device is quite fast, although it is inferior to the top phones in tests:

What was pleasantly surprising, unlike HTC devices, the device immediately comes with full Ukrainization of both the keyboard and the interface. good standard. It also has a pre-installed number of programs, many of which are specially adapted for its resolution. For example, a caledar looks very nice:

By the way, most programs are normally displayed on a 7-inch screen:

although there were a couple of applications that could not cope:

I will try to prepare material on native applications, some of them are very convenient, but not without their glitches.
Also ready to help developers - test how their applications work on this miracle tablet
