You are probably already familiar with Google Live Search : while you enter a query, it predicts the search results. But the search for the necessary information does not end there. Today we take another step - we are moving to a new, visual, presentation of the search results. We called it "Page Preview ." Now, viewing thumbnail images of web pages, it will be even easier for you to choose the right site!
A page preview shows what Google web pages look like. It will highlight the most relevant sections for you and allow you to easily find the desired results, as if you were flipping through a magazine. To use the new feature, click on the magnifying glass icon next to the title of any search result. On the right you will see a reduced scale image of the site you are interested in. Hovering over any other result, you will also see its snapshot. If you are using a keyboard rather than a mouse while searching Google, press the right key to Preview pages, and use the down and up keys to move between the results. - Quickly match your search results. You can easily choose from the results the one that suits you best by looking at the appearance of the sites. It’s very easy to switch between different results!
- Find exactly the information you need. Sometimes Google will even mark in orange those places on the page where the query text occurs. Seeing exactly where the words that interest you are located, you can easily understand how interesting the page is to you.
- Interact interactively with the search results page. Now the appearance of the page can be judged even before you click on the link. Looking for a chart, picture, map or list? Using Preview, you can find them much faster!
