What does LG give $ 10,000 for?

At the bourgeois forums, I came across an active discussion of another rumor about LG. Apparently, they want to BUY already sold phones with certain serial numbers for a very large amount of $ 10K.

Particularly impressionable citizens are interested in the rumor that the leak of a unique technology (transformers among us?) May serve as the reason for the return. They also hint that these phones are somehow special, despite the fact that they are serial and should look like ordinary ones.

It’s not clear whether this is part of a new veiled ad campaign of the type “find under the lid and get a cap as a present”, or maybe, really, something went there “by accident”. Although it seems to me personally, they stupidly screwed up there, and until these mobile phones began to explode in their pants, some of the models were urgently withdrawn from the market. In any case, the guys from LG are trying hard to find these phones.

If we assume that all this is not a fake, then, in the place of the owner of such a phone, I would not have dragged him right away to LG, but I thought a lot, maybe they will give more, especially if the lawyers of the “victims” take up the case.

In general, it turns out strange if they are really so interested in these devices, why in the media there is no information about the search. Exactly for the same reasons, it is doubtful whether these are promotions or lotteries (there is almost no activity online and offline).
