Two weeks ago, we announced the launch of Live Search , then it was available only to those who logged into your Google account. Starting yesterday, Live Search works for all google.ru users . We are also continuing to work on Opera browser support.

I would like to give some useful tips on managing Live Search from the keyboard:

• When typing a query, the Tab key or the right arrow completes the query in the search line. For example, to search for “weather in Samara” , you can type “p” , then “Tab” , then “in sa” and see the result;
  
• Between the five top tips you can switch the keys "up" - "down" . For the same request “weather in Samara”, you can type “weather in” , then use the “down” key to go to the desired request;
  
• And the most interesting is that if you start switching between the top hints with the arrows “up” - “down” , then pressing the “right” key will lead to the transition to the first result of the current query. Those. if you type “weather in sa” , press the down arrow and then the right arrow , then you will go to the page corresponding to the first result of the query “weather in Samara” .
  

Based on this, the fastest way to search for weather in Samara will be as follows: type “p” , then “Tab” (or the “right” arrow ), then “c” , then a couple of times the down arrow, then the right arrow .
