Wi-Fi n, 802.11n activation on cards with Atheros AR9xxx chips
While waiting for the Asus Eee PC T101MT laptop to come to me, I was digging forums and found an interesting thing about Atheros.
Due to the lack of certification of the 802.11n standard in Russia, many Wi-Fi laptops based on Atheros 9xxx chips come with blocked support for the n-standard.

- Flashing the EEPROM (the most reliable method, but there is a slight risk of spoiling the card)
- Installing patched drivers (a less reliable method, but without the risk of spoiling the card. Also useful in case of a failure during the firmware)
