Huawei - an uninvited guest in the US market

The parties to the transaction suggest that Huawei was unable to obtain permission to purchase from the US government. Candidates for the purchase were the largest software provider - 2Wire Inc., as well as a division of Motorola Inc. wireless equipment manufacturer recently acquired by Nokia Siemens Network. Most likely, the fault was the past of the company and its creator, Zhengfei Ren (Zhengfei), who for a long time worked for the military organization People's Liberation Army.
This is not the first failure of the company: in 2008, Huawei was not allowed to acquire the American company 3Com under the pretext that in this way the Chinese government is trying to gain access to the technology of intrusion prevention used by the US Department of Defense.
