Pantech joined the ranks of androids
Pantech followed the trends and announced the handset under Android: SKY IM-A650S Vega
Although it will be sold only in Korea by the local operator SK Telecom, the handset is nevertheless interesting:
Weight: 114 grams.
This device works under Android 2.1 with a proprietary three-dimensional user interface, but they promise to update it to 2.2.
How much is unclear, but the fact of the appearance of such a tube from Pantech is interesting.
I don’t know how in Russia, in Ukraine they tried to enter the market, but did not succeed, although they had very, very interesting pieces of iron at that time. Perhaps their sales have failed due to prices. I remember that at that time they were the first and only (and still you will not see such anywhere) who built a fingerprint scanner in their flagship phone. Then it was very outlandish :)
In general, an amusing vendor and his arrival on the Android smartphone market promises a lot of interesting things.
