Give me one try!
Every time cookies are reset on Habr, one has to not just press OK on the login page, but also demonstrate his impressive capabilities for recognizing images, enter captcha. From the first time, this does not always work out.
So I thought, why in this situation they ask me to introduce it? The presumption of innocence is needed - I am not a robot, at least until my behavior gives reason to suspect the opposite. Give one try to enter the password without captcha! I will not be mistaken, the browser remembers the password.
Update: I’ll try to change the scheme a little to complicate the life of botnets that sort out usernames and passwords so that an attempt to enter one account is not carried out too often. It is necessary to allow one login attempt without captcha only from the computer from which the previous login was.
At the request of readers and my own understanding, I’m transferring to the Habr - user support blog. If there is a more correct place - tell me.
