Founders Parallels, Acronis, and Almaz set up a seed investment fund

    Chairman of the Board of Directors of Parallels and Acronis Sergey Belousov and founder of the Almaz Capital Partners fund Alexander Galitsky created a fund for investments in high-tech startups of an early stage of development. The fund was called Runa Capital . The size of the fund is about $ 30 million. The



    areas of investment are software and Internet services. Of particular interest is projects in the areas of cloud computing, machine translation, virtual presence and software for mobile devices. The main objective of Runa Capital is to bring talented Russian-speaking technology teams to world markets.

    The activities of the fund will be supported by a business incubator whose goal will be to grow competitive technology companies from promising Russian startups. The incubator is called Runapark.

    The venture partners of the fund included well-known high-tech entrepreneurs and investors - Andreas Gauger, founder of the world's largest hosting provider 1 & 1 and CTO of this company, Achim Weiss, founder of Rolsen and Acronis Ilya Zubarev, founder of the largest Russian software distributor Softline Igor Borovikov, chairman of UFG Asset Management Charles Ryan, founder of Doctor Web Igor Danilov.
