Hey apple you're holding it wrong

Tonight, Apple posted an official response to user complaints about iPhone 4 connectivity issues . I got to my personal mail and Steve Jobs, and his answer is more concise and understandable ornate wordings of the PR department of Apple.

    - I like my new iPhone 4 (great job), but when I touch the metal edge with my hand, the signal disappears. This seems like a common problem. Any plans to fix it?
“Just try not to hold it that way.”
In connection with these journalists Engadget published a wonderful selection of photographs, which can be viewed under the cut.

The official answer from Apple PR ( English version here ):
If you take any mobile phone in your hand, it will affect the operation of its antenna. Moreover, depending on the location of the antennas, in some places of the case this will be noticeably stronger. This is the truth of life for any cordless phone. If you have ever encountered this on your iPhone 4, avoid grabbing it at the bottom left so that your hand is touching both parts of the metal edging. Or simply use one of the many cases.
