It would seem that there might already be interesting in headphones? It turned out there. But let's get it in order.

The first thing that surprised and, in principle, at the same time pleased - is that they are not delivered in a box, but right in the case with a convenient handle, which fits both headphones and wires.

The headphones themselves look pretty nice. Classic matte black with leather ear pads.

Design and comfort

I think here he deserves a separate word. Headphones look very soundly made. Matte plastic with metal inserts (bezel, name). The headband is made of a metal plate lined with two types of fabric: soft on the inside and smooth glossy on the outside.



The headphones are folding (as seen in the first photo), it is very convenient when transporting.
The ear pads are leather, shallow, with soft foam inside, which makes listening very comfortable and pleasant to the ears.



The cable sheath is also made of matte black material, very dense, the wire is unlikely to break or fray. Jacks on both wires are made at right angles with threads (for screwing the adapter 6, 3 mm), which is convenient for connecting to various DJ settings and mixers.



As for the comfort of the device: they sit on the head very comfortably, do not press. The size of the rim is adjustable, and the spread is large enough (for my head I set the average, although I usually push it to the maximum).

Particular comfort is given by the fact that the fastening of the speakers themselves rotates in all directions of the world and it is very easy to adapt the tilt of the headphones for yourself.



Well, undoubtedly, Fischer Audio pleases users with the supply of twisted wire. I think everyone understands its advantages: in a twisted state it is short, in a stretched state it is long. Conveniently.



The wires are connected to the headphones in a 3.5mm jack. According to users of Habr - it is convenient since the wire will simply disconnect if you pull it enough, and not deform and get damaged. And moving away from the remote control - it is more convenient to disconnect the wire than to remove the headphones from the head (or neck), and even more so than to drag them along with the wire. But in principle, if desired, you can fix the jack by turning it a little and snapping the slot.

Sound

These monitor "ears" are designed specifically for DJs, but if you wish, anyone can use them, especially those who love bass. And the headphones reproduce a lot of bass and, I would say, a lot, but surprisingly clean enough. Sometimes these blows to the ears are even a little annoying, but low frequencies are felt. Well and then, this is complete immersion when you hear every beat of drummer Rammstein.

If you listen to tracks without bass, you will notice that medium and high sounds are also reproduced cleanly.

In general, the sound is very clear and crisp
without difficulty provide a crystal clear and surprisingly clear sound, while having comfort and ease of use.

FA-005 are closed headphones, this isolates external noise, which is important when mastering. Also, I think this is what affects the density of the bass, with openness the feeling would be worse.

I personally really liked the sound both when listening to Trance and D&B, and when listening to melodic tracks with instrumental.

For specialists, I give the frequency response, phase response and impedance graphs.





Price tag: in the region of 4000 p. Not too expensive, but not too cheap. Rather suitable for really knowledgeable people, or those who want and love to listen to bass on tracks.

General impression and results

I liked the headphones. And the appearance and quality of reproduction. For its price, I think it's pretty cool. Sure, professionals will find more virtues in their work, but as an ordinary user, I can definitely say that the headphones are on the top five.
They sit tight on their heads, but do not press. The sound is clear, clean, the bass is well heard (even sometimes they hit on the ears). 2 interchangeable wires and a case are a great addition to the good quality of the FA-005. I definitely advise amateurs and professionals.
