HTC Wildfire - a new twinkle in the camp of Android-smartphones

Today, HTC introduced a new compact Android-smartphone with the screaming name Wildfire (in the lane - flame). HTC Wildfire is designed to occupy the middle-end niche of touch devices on Android and replace HTC Tattoo on this post.

Unlike Tattoo, HTC Wildfire has much more impressive features that are very similar to HTC Legend. Available at Spark 3.2 "capacitive TFT-display with a resolution of QVGA, 512 MB ROM , 384 MB RAM , GPS / AGPS , WiFi 802.11b / g, 5 megapixel camerawith LED flash and autofocus, 3.5 mm audio jack, microUSB port and 1300 mA / h battery. The platform is Qualcomm MSM7225 System-On-Chip with an ARMv6 processor with a clock frequency of 528 MHz. MSM7225 is nothing more than a minor version of the MSM7227 SoC , on which HTC Legend is based, but without a hardware video accelerator. The novelty is running Android 2.1 Eclair.

The estimated cost of the device on the Russian market is ~ 13 thousand rubles, the date of appearance in retail is July 2010.
