Virtual Reality at GDC 2010
When I watched Lawn Mower, I always wanted to try to plunge into virtual reality in a ball, like the main character, and here at the GDC 2010 in San Francisco they brought almost such a thing.
It costs more than $ 30,000, height 3 meters. In the hands of the hero of the plot, the dummy guns, and you need to kill with head movements, but for training the military (for which these things are now used for the most part) use guns with a position sensor. Judging by the reviews, getting there is easy, but when you wear glasses it's hard to catch a balance.
I wonder if the future games will immerse us so much?
