Smartphone overview Sciphone N19
Hello everyone :) This is me again, and again not with my topic :)
Author of the work: dysangelium . Acknowledgments and questions, please address to him. Enjoy reading.
After reading a review of the older model N21 , I thought about how to myself also get a freebie for a small robot.

Therefore, I held a simple operational-search measures, as a result of which I chose the Sciphone N19 . He did not look so solid, but he was cheaper, and there was no second SIM card (+20 stamina).
I paid $ 156.09 with delivery, and sat down, arms folded, wait.
What did I need, why all these ridiculous gestures?
See what kind of beast such Android is: how convenient is it to use? I tried a variety of operating systems - Palm, all kinds of Symbian, WinMobile, MacOS and so on. The launch of Android is an important event, it gives us a vector of development of user interfaces, this is what everyone will have in 2-3 years.
Since I have long been addicted to Google services, I also wanted to have them constantly at hand.
Well - play around. Long time agoI didn’t pick up drafts in my hands, changed new devices with dubious assemblies and crooked patches.
The review will be unusual. Since they didn’t pay me for it, I will modestly omit the technical specifications (well, there is WiFi and Bluetooth there) and focus on the user's impressions and experiences. My main view will be: how convenient ?
And as a standard of convenience, I will pick up the good old ground Nokia 5310 and, as it were, I will constantly compare the convenience of communication. I am not a fan of taking photos and videos , so there will be only one photo from me.
It has arrived! More precisely, he tore from the post office with a fight: the postman escorted me with a farewell message “Come without notice, there are only a few of you here, I know you all” (???) - apparently, those who receive shameful parcels from abroad.
Cool box made of thick cardboard. Inside the device, headphones, a USB-miniUSB cable, and charging, which after 30 seconds went into a garbage in a broken form. Well, I will charge from the computer.
The phone is made to the touch with high quality, the assembly is good, nothing creaks and does not hang out. Simka and flash drive are inserted on the side, regardless of the battery - convenient. The keys on the face are not very comfortable.
The screen is gloss, the fact is my brain. Oh well, the overall impression is good.

On the phone - one and a half Android. Honestly, I don’t care what version it is, the main thing is that it works.
The first launch is about 3-4 minutes, and it is unnerving! It reboots too long enough. I’ve digged a little in the settings - the Android Market works out of the box, there are not enough settings, there is localization.
Then I diligently went where necessary , downloaded the official update, GoogleApps and the Russian TinyKeyboard from there. I rolled up the update (exciting moment) - I looked inside - nothing has changed. Apparently, I had a sufficient new firmware.
I installed the keyboard, started installing GoogleApps, a couple of applications from the package refused, one crazy buggy, throwing errors every 15 seconds - and I immediately demolished it. I drove a password with a login into gmail, looked at the mail, and immediately after that fell asleep - it was a very alarming day, a lot of new impressions.
In the morning I looked at the toy - and could not believe my eyes. During the night, Android synchronized with Google services and presented me with all the relevant contacts. I almost cried, by golly. So I was already fed up with these endless synchronizations between different formats of contact books.
Lyrics!Burn in hell to the creators of Nokia PC Suite, Oxygene Phone Manager, Motorola's fucking softins, nedoprogrammers from LG and Samsung, who had plenty of drinks with my blood. Finally, I will tear down MS Office, which I kept only because of Outlook - the intermediary between Gmail and Nokia Ovi.
I don’t even know if there was any use to installing GoogleApps.
The interface is a long conversation, therefore I won’t spread much over the tree with a cape. Overall, good. The screen is nice, the touch control has not really becomeconvenient, buttons are still much more convenient. But at the same time, many interface solutions are very convenient, and quite delivering.
The settings are very unusual. But this organization is quite logical, although there are questions - some necessary settings are not in principle. There is no traffic counter, this is a minus.
Convenience to call is satisfactory. Dialing a number on the touch screen is much worse, and this is a fact that cannot be changed programmatically. Until I found contact groups. The quality of communication is so-so.
SMS - I try not to use it at all. But, as in messengers, it is better to type a message using the keyboard, albeit virtual.
Camera - it’s scary to look without tears. There are probably all sorts of gadgets in the phone such as a voice recorder, radio, accelerometer and other things, but. To be honest - we in life use this nonsense 1-2 times.
Embedded applications: icq-client does not support Cyrillic, it is better to download from the market. The alarm clock should be modified. Everything else works for me flawlessly, and even more than that - it pleases me with my work. No glitches have been found.
Features:
Total: "for the money - there are no flaws."
