IPhone Navigation

Greetings to all, today, thanks to the iPhone, we can do many interesting things, now he can replace us with a game console, camera, navigator and more. Today we will consider the situation when the device will help us in determining the position, calculating the route, finding the nearest gas stations, hotels, coffee and much more. To do this, you do not need to buy a separate navigator, your iPhone is enough and a relatively small amount of money on the account in the iTunes store.

In today's review, there were 3 programs that will turn your iPhone into a navigator, among them: Sygic Mobile Maps, iGo navigation for Russia, NDrive Russia.
So all the programs are bought, installed, proceed to the review.

    Sygic Mobile Maps.

    Price: $ 79.99.
    Size: 211 MB.
Rating in the AppStore (USA): 4+.
Link in the AppStore: Sygic Mobile Maps. Pros: Russian localization. Nice interface. Additional features: Time zones, calculator, unit conversion, country guide. Change the color scheme in accordance with the time of day. Multitouch support (Only in the latest version). Cons: Weak detailing of small cities. Lack of contours of houses (Present in previous balances, it is not clear why they removed it). Conclusion: In general, the program is pleasant, navigation with it was a pleasure.

    iGo navigation for Russia.

    Price: $ 69.99.
    Size: 244 Mb.
Rating in the AppStore (USA): 4+.
Link in the AppStore: iGo navigation for Russia. Pros: Built-in music player with convenient key layout. The ability to choose a vehicle (a trifle, but nice). Change the color scheme in accordance with the time of day. Russian localization (the screenshots show the English version). Good map detail. Cons: Incomplete localization (Sometimes untranslated phrases come across). Conclusion: A good, convenient program, but I did not immediately find Russian localization in the settings (or did not want to find it), but they forgot to offer it to me the first time.

    NDrive Russia.

    Price: $ 69.99.
    Size: 194 Mb.
Rating in the AppStore (USA): 4+.
Link in the AppStore: NDrive Russia. Pros: Russian localization (it is also a minus, more on that below). Cons: Poor localization: 1) Lack of a Russian keyboard (you will have to type transliteration of street names). 2) Street names are not translated into Russian. 3) Some menu items simply do not fit in the display when upright. 4) The names of some menu items can only be guessed (approx. "Ituran GPS"). I did not like the interface. While the route information is being spoken, the music stops, rather than being muffled. Conclusion: I did not like it.

So our review is coming to an end, I think now it will be more difficult for any hub user who has an iPhone to get lost in our vast country, good luck on the road.
