Everyone talks about applications for social networks, almost everyone plays them (at work), many develop them (instead of studying), many application developers gain audience, but only a select few can monetize it. It is the same with brand promotion - it’s easy to merge the advertising budget on Vkontakte, it’s difficult to achieve website transitions and sales.
On February 19-20, Moscow will host the Win the Market training “Business in Social Media”, where authors and instructors (N. Sherman - Drimmi, N. Mityushin - ABRT, I. Antipov - Ingria) will talk about game design, viral recruitment mechanisms audience, the principles of monetization of applications for social networks and the use of social media to promote and build businesses. You can take part in the training for free.if you win the competition. To participate, you must send the decision of the assignment to [email protected] before 23:00 on February 13th. The jury E. Masolova (AddVenture - the fund launched 5 applications since January, the total audience is already 1.8 million users), N. Mityushin (RIS Ventures, ABRT - the fund invested in Drimmi, an application developer). Winners will be announced on February 16th.
Assignment (any of your choice, maximum 5 pages):
1. Analyze and describe with numbers and cases the most successful ways of monetizing and promoting applications on Vkontakte, MyMir, Facebook.
2. To analyze and describe with numbers and cases the most successful strategies for promoting brands in social media (social networks, twitter, LiveJournal, blogs).
Prizes:
1st place - free participation in the training "Business on Social Media" (usual cost 16,900 rubles), sponsored by AddVenture.
2nd place - 100 coins in the application “ Hypocrite ” and 10 cool hats in the application “ Hat on the profile picture ”. (Virtual goods are no worse than real ones, we believe;).
3rd place - 5 over strong cards in the Mercenaries app and 100 bonuses in the Ministry of Laughter app .
