SkyLink Attacks Part One
Good afternoon, dear Khabravchians.
I decided to ask you for help, maybe someone knows what to do in this situation.
My phone is ringing now, and a joyful male voice appears as an employee of some agency there, and reports that it is going to sue me.
As it turns out from the conversation - he calls on behalf of skylink, and wants me to pay her 4200 rubles. Otherwise, there will be a court.
My surprise knew no bounds, and in order not to overload you with unnecessary details of how I found out, I will tell you what I managed to find out in the end.
Yes, indeed, three years ago I was a Skylink subscriber. The tariff was "One and a half thousand rubles per gigabyte." I used it for about four months, paying Skylink a total of about 20 thousand rubles. There were attempts to quarrel with the technical support service on the topic that “I have netstat showing 1.5 gigs, and you have 3 gigs drawn in Skype (admin: you can see the status of the account, etc.).” Didn’t lead to anything, but then I was extremely busy at work / institute and frankly not before that. Realizing for myself that I didn’t need this haemorrhoids, I spat and rented an apartment for work near the cottage, with a dedicated line. It turns out that after I stopped using their services, Skylink withdrew money from the account “minus”, as they say “for saving the subscriber number”. The idiocy of the situation just strikes me: they demand money from me for a service that they did not render me. Actually, the question arises of how legitimate such a lawsuit is, maybe someone has already come across this, no doubt, a wonderful OPSOS.
