Flashing liquid crystals - the engine of trade

While North America is waiting for a revolution in the field of bar codes of a new generation (more about QR can be found here ), the Asian region goes further. Several large corporations (including Toshiba and NEC) are joining forces in an attempt to create technology for transferring the content of advertising media, such as billboards, books, posters, to a mobile phone. Users can get product information from a distance of five meters from illuminated advertising media by simply pointing the phone towards the light. If the circumstances are right, the technology will be ready by 2013.
