English Without Fools: Online lessons for free, live, for everyone!

Today I have a small holiday: the first anniversary of the second birth of the site "English without Fools" . For a long time I was going to tell the respected Habrachians about this my project, but somehow there was no reason, but today I can not resist, do not blame me.
If you have ever been interested in the possibilities of learning English online, you should be aware of the main figures of the Runet in this topic, and at the same time, you should know the feeling of annoyance that all these resources are essentially the same thing, namely a collection of static materials of varying degrees of diversity and completeness: textbooks for download, books in English, articles on grammar, occasionally some tests and exercises, plus selections of idioms, proverbs, jokes, songs and other supporting information.
And it's all?! Now, when is the 21st century on the calendar? And where is the interactive? Where is the multimedia? Where is the vibrant vibrant community? Indeed, at the current level of Internet technology, putting all this at the service of language learning is more than realistic! Having once discovered a yawning void in the place of domestic services for learning English, I didn’t make any sentiments, but sat down at my computer, and after a while a project came into being that embodied my own idea of what the site should be to help language learners. In a nutshell: if traditional websites resemble a library, then “English without Fools” is an educational institution.
Everything happens as follows. Every week the next task is published on the site . Jobs follow the established formatand include rad text, audio, and video content. Within a week, program participants work on a task and, as they are ready, enter their answers. After that, a debriefing is performed, where we consider selective work, identify typical errors and note distinguished ones.
Here is a video, for example, was used in the assignment on the financial crisis :
And here's how the discussions go around: In this form, the program lasted until the end of the last school season. During the summer holidays, new ideas came up, and starting in September, the format of the classes was slightly changed in order to introduce the largest and most needed part of the audience to work on tasks: beginner English students. I could talk for a long time about the project: about constantly added innovations, such as, for example, the participant’s activity index or the built-in dictionary call

, about new headings on the site, about how, at a certain point, a course was taken to transform the author’s essentially a project into a "webdwan" resource, and there’s not much else to say. But I value your time, and therefore I interrupt my story in order to answer the main question that has long been in your language: is there any use for all this?
I will not twist my soul. The benefits are definitely there, but! If you are waiting for a wonderful breakthrough, you should warn: our program does not create enough load for this. Those who need to force their English will have to look for a tutor themselves and do additional things. In any case, learning a language is that kind of activity where success for the most part depends on the desire and perseverance of the individual. Yes, methodological and organizational assistance also plays a role, but only as auxiliary factors. And if “English Without Fools” will personally prove to you that very factor in achieving success, I will be extremely glad. After all, for the sake of this, everything was started!
So come on in :)
