Meizu M8: take the best from iPhone, Android and WinMo and rethink

    Meizu M8
Probably many of you are familiar with the Chinese counterparts of the iPhone: SciPhone, CECT, and other delights of engineering of the Chinese people, who work on finished versions of Nucleus OS and parody the iPhone interface. Against this background, the promises of the Meizu company, which produced fairly good mp3 players, to release a phone - looked quite rosy. However, the release dates from 2007 were constantly postponed, and finally released in February 2009, the Meizu M8 did not look as profitable as it seemed: after the release of the iPhone 3G, the prices for the iPhone 2G fell to the level of Meizu M8, which made buying to zero.

Nevertheless, Meizu M8 has relatively good hardware at the moment: 3.4 "capacitive screen with multitouch support, display resolution 480 * 720 px, ARM11 667 MHz processor, 3.2 Mpx, etc. GPS and 3G support will appear in Meizu M8 3G in March 2010.

Windows CE is used as the OS in the M8. Initially, the M8 interface tried to copy the iPhone, and Meizu did a good job of it. Over time, the interface underwent changes: new widgets, interesting ideas, as well as ideas taken directly from Android and the latest appeared versions of Windows Mobile. What this has resulted in, you can see in the leaked version Application:

According to the CEO of the company, the firmware is only 50% ready, but what he saw is impressive.
