Web Standards Days, Minsk 2009
Still not up to web standards? Then we go to you! The first open meeting of the Web Standards Developers Association , held in St. Petersburg in the late autumn of 2007, was an absolute success. Therefore, it was decided to expand the geography of the association and to organize a series of similar events in Russia, as well as in Ukraine and Belarus.
Fulfilling the decision, the Web Standards Developer Association presents a new event format called Web Standards Days . The first meeting will be held on November 28, 2009 in Minsk in the conference hall of the Belarus Hotel at ul. Storozhevskaya, 15.
The main goal of the first and subsequent meetings is to provide quality education and exchange of experience in the field of web development. Such a format does not imply the promotion of any individual commercial interests and technologies - we are united by the idea of building a single open web.
For free registration, send your first and last name to [email protected] , and also, if you wish, a few words about yourself - we will be familiar! By the way, the number of seats is limited - if they start to run out, we will warn about this.
The meeting program consists of five reports that will tell participants about the development of both well-known and new web development technologies, how to learn how to benefit from daily mistakes, and will also present a competition of high-tech sitesWebHiTech .
We invite all interested professionals to participate in the discussion about the development of web standards and their application in practice. Among the speakers and participants in the meeting will be attended by representatives of the following companies: Opera Software , Yandex , Soup Factories , WEBO Software , LOVATA Group .
After the event, everyone is invited to informal communication between speakers and participants. Time and place will be specified.
Partners of the event will be Opera Software and LOVATA Group, which will provide sponsorship and organizational support, as well as the IT-JOB.by project, which will provide photo and video shooting of the event.
