For about a month I began to notice strange pop-ups on my site. Moreover, windows appeared only 2-3 times a day completely unpredictably after clicking on any of the links. Immediately I thought that they had broken the site and slipped the iframe into the code of the pages, but the search for the word iframe did not give anything.
I had to look for a problem in the connected scripts and what was my surprise when I found a code that added a bunch of nasty things to my page. It turned out that all this is due to the whos.amung.us statistics counter . Look at this script!
