Commercial operation in Ufa will begin on October 12

In June of this year, residents of Ufa received free access to the Yota Internet 4G service, which worked for three months in test mode. Yota helped test the work of 4G Internet. Champions are the first Yota users in the city. In July, the sale of a variety of network access devices — modems, laptops, telephones, and routers — began. Today, the main territory of the city is included in the network coverage area, the testing period is over and the commercial operation of 4G Internet in Ufa begins.
During the first month of test operation in Ufa, 5,000 residents of the city connected to Yota, and today there are already 13,000 Yota customers in the capital of Bashkortostan, and 200 new ones are connected daily.

According to statistics, the total incoming traffic in Ufa amounted to 210.89 TB over the past month, and the average consumed traffic per user is more than 68 GB. The record for consumption in the city was set by one subscriber, who downloaded 1.2 TB in September.

Ufa is becoming the third city in which the Yota 4G network has been put into commercial operation. Moscow and St. Petersburg have been operating in this mode since June 1. Over 2.5 months, the number of active users of the service has reached 100,000, now there are already more than 150,000. Unified tariffs apply in all cities included in the Yota coverage area. A subscriber who has connected to a network in any of these regions can use Internet access and other Yota services in any city in the coverage area without roaming charges. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the network has already gone beyond the city: Yota coverage has appeared at airports, large regional settlements, along highways. The network is going to be put into test operation in two more cities - Sochi and Krasnodar.

Residents of Ufa can pay for Yota services through instant payment terminals, cash desks of payment acceptance in partner stores and via the Internet. Full information on payment systems can be found in the Yota site section “How to pay” .
