Zillya!, The first and only free Ukrainian antivirus

In Russia, a national browser project is being prepared , and in Ukraine, a national Anti-Virus is ready and actively distributed.
Not so long ago I stumbled upon Google Q&A on a standard and often annoying question about the “best antivirus”, but the answers flickered on a completely non-standard proposal to use Zillya, moreover, with the most positive reviews in its favor, which aroused my interest.
on Habrahabr there is already a mention of this antivirus. The official page of the antivirus: http://zillya.com and from that moment the interesting has already begun: when we go to this page we see this (I suspect IP verification):In fairness, it’s worth noting that no one is bothering us to pretend to be a Ukrainian, which I did. The site is designed in orange and blue and still 2 languages ​​are available, which made me happy because I don’t speak Ukrainian: the
download counter immediately catches my eye (I was 249789 downloaded), which in combination is a download link to an on-line installer weighing 305kb,

after which it starts loading already 63071kb (while we wait ...)
In the upper right corner of the site you can see an interactive page, when you hover over it we scroll see call “Sell Zillya! with us "and the contacts email address without a hyperlink marked" write for detailed information "Also on the site I found the following:

• - Zillya! Server - the ability to use Zillya's servers! instead of installing the server side of the antivirus on the company's own servers.
• - Free Zillya! for non-profit organizations (state authorities, educational institutions, religious communities, other organizations whose purpose is not to make a profit). Available after filling out the questionnaire on the site, in the news section it is mentioned that on the first day of the program more than 1000 profiles were received, which are now being considered.
• - Zillya Gift Shop! cups, car stickers, t-shirts, raglans with the antivirus logo.
• - Zillya! - Assistant, anti-virus scanner on demand ("You can recommend us to your friends (do not forget that even the owners of antiviruses can use Zillya! Assistant")

When all files are downloaded to a temporary directory, installation starts. At the beginning, the installer checks the programs already running in the system, then starts unpacking, after installation (v 1.0.1203.0) we see the interface: I note that the antivirus has its own interface, and not the standard “Windows Aero simplified” which it simulates.
It is strange that neither during installation, nor during startup, nor after the start of scanning, Zillya did not react in any way to the already fully installed and fully active ESET Nod32 SS 4.0 (which in turn only asked permission for Zillya to access the network)
From the antivirus features in the interface reflected the following:

• Scanning MS Office documents before opening;
• Scan files downloaded using Internet Explorer;
• Heuristic analysis;
• Scanning mail messages (in, Out, in & out) the ability to add a virus-free certificate.

There are utilities:

• Task Manager;
• startup manager.

there is a scheduler with the already added quick scan once a day and the ability to send a suspicious file to the laboratory for analysis.
Elementary settings:

• the ability to boot from the OS;
• turn off the screen saver;
• scanning: boot sectors, archived, packed files;
• choice of actions when detecting a virus, dangerous cookies;
• the ability to notify when a dangerous letter is detected, update completion.

The update is present both for anti-virus databases and for the application.
“Quick scan” - “checking the most critical components of the system for malicious objects” took 1:27:16 (one and a half hours)
when you exit the program through the tray icon the following dialog appears:

it is convenient if you need to temporarily disable the antivirus.

I want to say on my own that the product turned out to be quite high-quality and the developers took into account many ways of its distribution, it is a little strange that the project is positioned as purely National. The product distribution policy and support system are very attractive (8-800 toll-free telephone hotline for Ukrainians, mail support, off-line form, the program also sends usage statistics if desired.)
