Google Translator by Dimox widget

I decided nevertheless to present to the habrasociety (and, more precisely, to those who are an active user of the Opera browser) my newly created widget called " Google Translator by Dimox ".

For a long time there is a similar widget with exactly the same name, which I used for a long time, but which has not been updated for a long time and has a number of minuses that prompted me to create my own.

The Google Translator by Dimox widget translates text using the Google AJAX Language API , and the interface works using the jQuery framework that I really love.

When I planned to lay out the widget in the public, I doubted whether it would be of interest to anyone. As it turned out, my doubts were in vain - he was more than in demand. In just over two months of its existence, the widget has been downloaded more than 100 thousand times. Moreover, the widget is currently located on the homepage of widgets.opera.com in the Recommended block, and this is the best thanks to me.

In addition to actually translating text, the widget has the following features:

• translates the page at the specified link;
• has 2 interface languages: Russian and English;
• has a number of settings: automatic language detection when entering text; selection of languages ​​displayed in drop-down lists; drop down list location; typeface and font size of text fields;
• widget window size can be changed;
• hotkeys are used for basic functions.
