External 2.5 "HDD A-Data Nobility NH92 500GB Review

Most recently, I had a task and a desire: to buy a mobile external HDD. Immediately, I note that I already have WD My Book Essential Edition 500GB, but it is large, with a power supply - that is, it is not at all portable. So I got an idea: why not use WD for backups, but for storing photos (I take pictures in RAW and a lot of o_O), films and other things, take a small, fast, beautiful screw. Applicants included Seagate FreeAgent Go, Transcend, and Prestigio. I chose them for a long time, felt them, read reviews, but unfortunately I did not choose anything suitable for myself.
And yesterday I saw a new line of HDDs from a-data in the store. Honestly, I heard little about them before :) Google, but there was little information: a few reviews + news on the release of the same line of new hard drives. In general, I decided to take it (do not ask for reasons, I just liked the design). I want to present you a brief overview with a small test of this product from Taiwanese =)
The bundle includes the HDD itself, a USB cable, and a USB case.
1 package.
Plain plastic packaging.

2. Cover
On the sites they write that the cover is leather. I admit honestly - to the touch it does not cause a feeling of skin for me. So the material is unknown.

3. The hard drive itself. The

dimensions of the device are small. For comparison, I photographed it next to an iPhone.

4. Speed test

5. Price The
optimal price of this gizmo is $ 115-120. That is, at the cost of the screw is at the level of Transcend. For comparison: a Seagate FreeAgent Go of the same size costs about $ 130.
In general, the impressions of the HDD are very positive: a thin, beautiful aluminum device with good speed.
Of the shortcomings, I noted only one: near the name of the company, the aluminum cover does not fit very tightly to the plastic :( This is a bit annoying. That is, the Taiwanese assembly is a little hacky :) Here ...
PS I am writing a review of iron for the first time. The reason is the lack of reviews of USB HDD data as such, which bothered me a bit when buying. I hope this information will be useful to you when choosing your data warehouse;)
