Are you well prepared to use Windows 7? A few hot keys
I want to apologize right away, the article is not very technical. If you think that you already know all the hot keys of Windows 7 that simplify working with it, then just skip this topic.
By chance I came across a tablet with hot keys associated with the new Windows 7 toolbar - I learned a lot of new and useful things for myself and I hasten to share them with you, after collecting as many useful combinations as possible.
1. Opening a new instance of the application. When you have attached (not necessarily) some kind of icon to the taskbar, for example, Word, and you want to start a new program instance quickly, I did this before: right-click on the icon and there I already selected a new program instance. It turns out everything can be relieved by a pressed keyShift: hold it and click on the icon - launch a new instance of the application. You can also click the mouse wheel (middle mouse button) on the icon to open a new instance of the program (by flashface )
2. Open the program as administrator. As in the first case, I did it like this before: with the right mouse button on the icon, then with the right mouse button already on the program’s shortcut and there I selected Run As Administrator. Here the combination Ctrl + Shift + click on the icon comes to the rescue - we see a favorite window saying that we do not mind running the program on behalf of the administrator. If the program needs to be constantly run as administrator - this can be configured on the Compatibility tab of the program shortcut - there is the Run this program as an administrator option. I did this with Visual Studio, and it tortured me that, sometimes, I didn’t have enough administrator rights to work with Internet Information Services.
3. See the old forgotten window main menu . It is difficult to verbally explain what it is, I will show you with a picture: This is the standard menu that we saw in previous versions of Windows when we right-click on the icon of a running application (if it is not launched, there will be a shortcut file menu). In order to start it, you need to hold down the key again

Shift and right-click . In the case of a group of running windows (instances), there will be a context menu for managing windows of this group.
4. Activate the next window from the group. If we have several instances of the program running and we see the group icon, then when we hold down the Ctrl key and left-click, we will activate the next window from the group in turn.
5. Run the program from the taskbar by the icon number. We hold down the Windows logo key
and press the number of the icon on the taskbar - the program instance is launched or we activate the running window (countdown from 1 :) ) to launch an exactly new program instance - hold down the Shift key. To activate the last active window, hold Ctrl to open Jump List - hold Alt .
6. We go over the taskbar icons. Another way to not use a mouse. We hold down the Windows logo key
and press the T key - in turn we translate the focus sequentially according to the taskbar icons.
