This December, representatives of all nations will gather in Copenhagen to discuss the global agreement on climate change after 2012. The aim of the agreement is to significantly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, leading to global warming, in order to avoid the most serious effects of climate change. Another important task is to help the world community to adapt to inevitable changes in the future. Denmark will host the 15th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change, also known as COP15 (15th Conference of the Parties, COP15).
Together with the Danish Government, we launch COP15on Youtube (choose the flag of Russia for the Russian-language interface). Here you can post your thoughts and questions on climate change addressed to decision-makers, as well as to the whole world: the videos will be broadcast on screens during the Conference of the Parties and evaluated by the channel’s audience. The videos with the most votes will be presented to a panel of experts in a CNN / YouTube discussion. The discussion will be broadcast by CNN International on television and on YouTube.
Do not remain indifferent to the problem of climate change, take part!
