Do you like road trips?

(my quote is from here )
... It all started with how my girlfriend Dasha and I realized our crazy dream: we traveled by car (together) from Moscow to Bergen (western Norway). Our road trip turned out to be just mega-saturated according to the impressions and events that happened to us! We did it, yeahhh! Then I started a blog on WordPress and described our adventures there in several volumes (work on 50-60 pages of text only), plentifully “seasoning” the description with unusual pictures of Scandinavian nature and so on. I got a lot, a great (by the standards of my modest blog) a lot of reviews of enthusiasm, after which I got the idea to bungle a resource - a community of car tourists, where respected like-minded people could find all the information they need on road trips, post reports and just chat.

Took a CMS LiveStreet 0.3, twisted and turned (as far as there were enough skills and abilities) and brought to life his idea - he created the Community of Car Tourists .

In the post where I quoted from above, good people told me what to consider in the further development of the project and how to “ennoble” it for a mature audience, for which many thanks to all! But that post of mine was aimed at getting just advice and know-how on how to "handle" an unapproachable and age-related audience (then, by the way, as a newcomer to the Habr, I recklessly made an attempt to collect statistical averaged data on the ages of the visitor to the projects of the Habrausers, for which got eleven minuses (I beg you, don’t put them even more.) The reasons for the minus are in the comments. Sorry, I repent.).

But now, with bated breath and getting ready for all kinds of scenarios for discussing this topic (I hope, gentlemen, respect it with your attention), I would like to PRI under the drum roll ...

So, voila! .. Imagine my young one (yes, damp, yes, bye I didn’t order an exclusive design, but everything has its own (soon) time, but the project, which is already getting on its feet, is a community for those who, on long trips on their iron horses, see a tedious task of transporting their fifth point from point A to point B and fascinating and, at times, adventurous switching off. For those who look askance at airplanes and trains and enjoy the numbers changing on the odometer ... :-) Welcome!

PS our megastravel described in the very beginning in Scandinavia (in Norway in particular) was indeed saturated, because we even managed to get into a small accident in a tiny Norwegian town on the way back and get stuck there, at that time the actions of our Schengen visas, money and leave were already drawing to a close. So, if there is a couple of hours of free time, you are welcome to "read" my report )
