Picture For Me - 1 year

Who just August 12, but for us ( gorp , zinich , newatol ) - it's a holiday. Exactly a year ago, we presented our startup on the hub . Bookmarks on pictures .
Over the year, we have done a number of other projects, but PicFor.Me will remain our favorite.

In honor of the anniversary, I want to present the latest chips of our project:

- first of all, this is Zoomer (from bildero.com ) - this is a tool for viewing images with high resolution. For example, a photo of Pittsburgh with a resolution of 15956x4903, go to the page and on the top right click on the picture of Loupe. I think you will like it.


- second: Image server (also from bildero.com), with its help it is possible to combine several (tens) pictures into one, which by itself increases the page loading speed, for example, to show 811 avatars, only 32 requests to the server were needed (it could have been done less).



Bookmarking photos has become easier. For this, we made a plugin for Firefox . With it, you can add more pictures at a time. To do this, right-click on the page with pictures and select “Pic all images on page”.
You can mark the picture as “private” and this picture will be available only to you.

We have added albums, so that in addition to tags you can group pictures by albums . Also, using the album, you can easily create a photo post on your blog. On the album page, click on “Blog this album!” And an html code will be generated for you, which you can immediately insert into your blog, while the description of the pictures will also be shown.

If you like the bookmarks of a user, you can add him as a friend and follow him on the Friends page .
