Some of you may be interested to know that over 900 unique contributors have been involved in the development of Django since January 1, 2007. Data is based on SVN logs.
I must say that the community is very strong, especially in comparison with other widely known projects:
It should be noted that all anonymous and guest commits were considered as one participant, unless of course the project allowed those.
