So what is he like?
It is, no matter how surprising it is, FineReader. Only his interface is easier. They say that in the style of "apple" minimalism .
This miracle works on Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.5 ( both on Intel and PowerPC ). It is able to open all common images and PDFs or receive images from a scanner, then to save the recognized (recognized in 171 languages, by the way!) In rtf, txt, xls, html and pdf.
