CinemaCube: the cheapest torrent download

Recently, there are more and more specialized BitTorrent devices that connect directly to the TV. Another novelty among such brite-View CinemaCube gadgets is the lowest price among all such devices: only $ 89.99 (in the USA). From now on, almost every owner of anlim can put a torrent rocking chair on a home TV.

The built-in BitTorrent client provides continuous pumping of traffic at the speed that your local provider allows you to. Alternatively, files are downloaded from a computer over a local network.

The small device connects to the TV via HDMI and supports high-resolution video up to 720p and 1080i. It is equipped with all possible analog and digital inputs and outputs and supports a dozen multimedia formats (Xvid, DivX, AVI, H.264, MP4, WMV, MKV, JPEG, PNG, FLAC, AAC, OGG, WAV, etc.).

True, there is no built-in HDD there, but you will have to record downloaded content on a flash drive or on an external USB 2.0 hard drive. But at night, the torrent rocking chair works absolutely silently and practically does not consume electricity (14 W).

As for me, this is the perfect device, unless WiFi is enough to not pull the cable to the router. On the other hand, in a couple of years, the cost of such “hardware torrent clients” should drop to $ 25-30, so you can wait with the purchase. Perhaps someone from smart TV manufacturers will even guess to embed the torrent client directly into the TV. This would be the most ergonomic solution.
