    Why so? What are the benefits to companies from new users? They are given all kinds of bonuses, discounts, new services.

    You don’t have to go far for an example: in any shopping center, girls representing OpSoSov connect new subscribers for free, and usually the operator gives a bonus - 50 rubles, say, to the account. Many (most of all, probably young people) use this, just like free Ubuntu disks - they will use up the bonus and throw them to hell.

    Meanwhile, the old customers get only these “pies” - tariff changes, the appearance of fees for once free services. I would especially like to emphasize the behavior of our regional provider. Approximately 3-4 times a year, new tariffs and concessions are introduced for new customers, such as an unlimited 4 Mb / s for 800 rubles. per month, while for "ordinary" customers the ceiling is 2 Mb / s for 1400 rubles. and no discounts, etc.
