Common Errors

Here I have compiled some of the most common grammatical errors I have encountered. Maybe someone will be useful.
    • Coordinate
Apparently, this mutant word was born as a result of marriage between the words cardinally and in a coordinated manner . The secrets of its origin are shrouded in darkness, but so far it has been met only in the sense of "cardinally".
    • In general
      In general, a

couple more mutant brothers, this time from the union in general and in general .
    • Chladogen The
parents of this offspring are not known for certain. With a high degree of probability, one of the ancestors is the refrigerant , but who else participated in the process is unknown. There is an assumption that this is halogen , but he in every way denies his involvement.
    • Over the chur
Every time I see this spelling of the word too much , it tempts me to ask: what chur and who are the chur?
UPD: As comrade msapiens informed me in the comments , “churs” exist. Moreover, as it turned out, the word "too" came precisely from the obsolete "over chur", where the word "chur" is used in the sense of "edge", "face". Nevertheless, in the modern language, this meaning of this word has almost been forgotten, and the word "too much" has become independent, it is written together and through "s". I'm not talking about the fact that it is unlikely that the bulk of the authors of "across the borders" use this spelling meaningfully, knowing the origin of this word. ;-)
    • To the article
      To the article

If we were talking about the word to become (aka physique), then the second of the mentioned options could be appropriate. But usually it’s just a misspelling of the word by the way . Sometimes there is also a hybrid variant by the way .
    • The future
How the word future turned into this freak is a mystery to me. Unless from symbiosis with the word "blowing" ...
    • Thank you for earlier.
      Thanks for the earlier.

You can thank for something specific. If someone gave you something called the word “ earlier ” (or “ earlier ”), thanks for this action could be expressed in just such a phrase, as indicated above. And if gratitude is made in advance, previously, then the word is spelled in advance together and through "e". (“Thanks for the early apples” option is also possible.)
    • Theirs
Perhaps the only word from the entire list given here, which is often used intentionally to dilute an overly serious text with deliberately colloquial, vernacular vocabulary. Nevertheless, according to the rules of the Russian language it is correct to speak them .
    • A scam
A direct consequence of the desire of certain individuals to destroy the letter “e” wherever its replacement “e” does not cause ambiguity. The word scam is written and read through "e" and not through "e"! If "ё" was written everywhere, and not just where you want it, then everyone would read the word "scam" correctly, and so many assume that there is the letter "ё" replaced by "e".
    • According to something
illiterate clerical circulation. It is correct to say according to something (but: “according to paragraph N of something”, because here “something” is already connected with the word “paragraph”).
    • My birthday
Once a year there is such a day : when you were born. And this day is called birthday . And since this is still a “day,” he is “mine,” and not “mine” at all.
    • Opening the door, she creaked loudly.
Question for filling: who creaked - the door or the person who opened this door? A very common mistake is when in the parties involved do not follow the coordination of objects and get similar idiocy (or even worse) ...
    • Verbs for -then / -t
Yes, I know that there are many rules in Russian, that they are complex, confused, that they are difficult to remember and even harder to understand ... But the rule of using the forms of the verbs for -t / -t is one of the most simple (if not the easiest)! Just ask a question for this verb. If the question has a soft sign - it will also be in the verb, no - then no:
      1. "I start (making t s ?) Collecting t s camping ."
      2. "It (the case that is ?) Going tsya ."
There is another, perhaps even simpler way of checking: just throw away the suffix "sya":
      1. "I want to teach t s . → I want to teach t s camping . "
      2. "It washing up is . → He is washing up etsya . "

PS: I don’t know if it makes sense to transfer to "I am writing correctly." On the one hand, the post is directly related to this blog. On the other hand, the selection is exclusively subjective and almost

    unstructured ... UPD: Moved.

UPD2: Highlighted "literate" links, as recommended in the comments by comrade Snipe .
