ChatterBlocker or Get Out Of My Head!

Somehow I got used to the fact that objects around me should make sounds. This music, or just the noise of the system engineer - is not the point. If only silence did not press on the ears.

But if the noise of the system unit itself is quite even, then music (especially vocal tracks) can be very distracting.

And if you are not at home, but in the office? Yes, and with the noisy neighbors a la “Good afternoon, Marina, purchasing department, we would like to ...” and like that. Concentration “magically” vanishes, leaving behind stress and sometimes not completed work on time.

    Is there a way out?

    There is an exit

And his name is ChatterBlocker .

    ChatterBlocker

The program is committed to generating ambient audio background. Three components:
    • voices pronouncing incoherent slurred pieces of phrases (male / female, three levels of density)
    • primitive musical loops (combine pretty well)
    • and the sounds of nature.

You can choose at least all at once (it will turn out cacophony, though), but in general it’s worth choosing the set that is optimal for yourself in terms of saturation. The volume can be adjusted for each component separately, plus a master fader.

Windows and MacOS X versions can be bought at share * it! (from 680 rubles) or download on the offsite demos . You can also get ready-made MP3 files there to upload them to the player. If you do not want either one or the other or the third - use Google, Luke :)

    Personal feelings

I checked on myself - it really works . To make noise is noisy (and nice, by the way) - but not a bit distracting. Thoughts are collected in one heap and do not scatter - I'm more than pleasantly surprised :) With winamp no, no, and I want to switch the track, or choose something new in the playlist. And here - you work and work.

I recommend everyone to try. Especially coupled with headphones, in which the ears do not get tired.
