- Any form of technical integration with the Evernote platform is eligible to participate in the competition. These may be products using the Evernote Web Service API, Evernote Site Memory, direct integration with the Evernote software client, and other methods listed in the corresponding section of the site .
- Make sure that the application or service you are offering is available for free to our judges. They may not be available publicly during the competition, but the jury should be able to evaluate the work using the Evernote account. As for iOS applications, we will provide a list of UDIDs of devices on which testing will be conducted.
- We will evaluate all the proposed works and announce the list of six finalists on July 22, 2011. Each of the finalists will receive a cash prize of $ 5,000, as well as a paid flight and accommodation for two nights during the Evernote Trunk Conference on August 18 in San Francisco.
- The finalists will be evaluated from July 22 to August 5, 2011. This process will consist of two stages:
- Popular vote: Evernote users will be able to visit the contest website and vote for their favorite work. User ratings will be 1/3 of the finalist rating.
- Jury Evaluation: A group of Evernote staff and the judges we invited will evaluate the work of each finalist and vote for the ones we like. The official rating will have a weight of 2/3 in the final rating.
