Not so long ago I chose a car navigator, one article really helped . After which I became interested in card suppliers and decided to write a short review.
So, manufacturers of maps for car navigators:

Coverage, see their website . Absolutely everything is Russia.
The flexibility of the cards is oak.
Wring their hands - do not give.
Reviews - in many cities they don’t see by the half-district, user reviews are pretty bad.
2. TomTom (headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands), founded in 1991, acquired Tele Atlas in 2008(which, in fact, dealt with cards from the very beginning), offices in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, 3300 employees, work very beautifully .

On the Internet, I found a couple of route planners for cars. Whose cards are inside these services, I do not know. But I liked the first Michelin-listed service:
http://www.viamichelin.co.uk
http://route.rac.co.uk
http://www.mappy.com
http://www.mapquest.com/ directions
http://maps.yahoo.com
Everyone looked crazy, the general impression of the companies was formed.
Further, if anyone continues to search for a navigator, the common auto-navigation programs are:
1. TomTom Navigator
2. iGO
3. MioMap
4. Sygic Drive
5. Autosatellite
6. Destinator
7. Be-On-Road
8. MioMap 2008
See the “at work” interface you yourself know where (www.youtube.com ) I
looked at device ratings here .
