Overview of web2.0 services for applicants, students, teachers and scientists
Helping someone familiar with the diploma, I came across an essentially important and useful portal to the Federal Portal of Russian Education , but one of the most terrible usability I have ever seen ...
And I decided to look for what we have on Runet dedicated to universities and higher education.
A service for publishing scientific papers, articles with commentary and rating opportunities, maintaining personal and thematic blogs, creating and grouping. As well as an interactive calendar of events.
What pleased us as an additional service is the Useful Information section , which, according to the authors, is:
It is a scientific network for scientists, graduate students and students, an electronic library of publications.
With a nice interface, fully accessible in 2 languages.
Good search by categories:
The site sits on a domain (Russian Informational Network) completely on Web2.0, with a ton of advertising. However, what he liked was elaborate texts. As one of the moss professors said, “Content is content, content is king!” And you can’t argue with that.
The site also covers all parts of education “from first graders to members of the RAS”.
The interface is old and inefficient - but it works, which makes me happy unlike edu.ru, for example
A simple service made on Drupal, without great web2.0 features, but again, 2 languages and very informative.
The main sections of the site:
The site’s authors also publish the Digest, provide the opportunity to search for graduate studies and vacancies, and also have a Hot List - “Last Minute” :) Grants and Conferences
Of the nice features:
A network created more for communication, posting photos, creating groups and even diasporas , however, teachers also have the opportunity to register, post information, assignments, conduct online consultations.
If not on Runet - of course there are much more services and sites, on usability Pts. I liked the Academia UPD service
:
A very interesting web2.0 service that allows you to:
And a lot of other things - try it, you will like it :) The
service is still at the beta testing stage, but the scope of the project and its quality are impressive. Long life Scribbler. And thanks f1neman for the tip :)
