CNN bought @cnnbrk account with a million followers

It's hard to believe, but the popular twitter account @cnnbrk , which broadcasts news from the CNN portal, actually never belonged to this media corporation. She admitted that she bought the account only recently, naturally, in order to transfer to its gigantic audience (958,530 followers).

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. We only know that CNN has been working with the previous account owner James Cox for more than two years, and recently he visited their headquarters in Atlanta with a two-day visit.

Obviously, the account went for a very decent amount. An audience of a million people is worth a lot. By expanding the feed of twitter news and adding links to your site there, CNN will receive hundreds of thousands of views per day (and the corresponding number of banner displays). This is good money. True, CNN has no plans to add these links in the near future (apparently so as not to frighten the audience).

The change of account owner became known literally today when several CNN reporters appeared on the list of cnnbrk friends (this list was empty before).
