Archive of Soviet television on the Internet

Soon a new portal CCCP-TV.ru will open on the Internet with a video archive of Soviet television.
The site will post recordings of television shows of the 1950s - early 1990s, such as Good Night, Kids, Blue Light, Around the Laughter, In the Animal World, USSR-Canada hockey matches and news programs.
The archive also contains recordings of congresses of the Communist Party, materials of the official information program “Vremya”, as well as some films made by special order of the State Television and Radio.
Access to CCCP-TV.ru will be free, but site visitors will have to register and download a special program for viewing video materials.
The project will be funded by commercials placed in commercials.
