Dell Latitude E6400 XFR: “armored” laptop with touch screen

I really like high-quality and long-lived things, and especially when it comes to electronics. This laptop is made according to the MIL STD 810F standard , which means it is more tenacious in comparison with other brothers. He is not afraid of vibration, shaking, falling on a hard surface, moisture, dust and aggressive environmental conditions. The computer can operate at temperatures from -33 to +63 degrees Celsius, as well as at reduced atmospheric pressure at an altitude of over 4,500 meters above sea level.

During a presentation organized by Dell, the laptop functioned normally under running water and falling from a height of 3 feet (~ 90cm), but a fall from 4 feet (~ 120cm) caused a breakdown. After the third fall from 4 feet, the protective plastic cover of the screen collapsed. Dell representatives justified it by saying that the demonstration model was dropped more than a hundred times before the presentation, and the 3-year warranty makes it possible to immediately replace a broken screen.
