Quipochka, light up! Fixing qip and more
Surely many Khabrovsk residents already know this method, since I myself learned about it from the link from the topic . But, I think, you need to select this in a separate topic, and share the link to it with everyone who uses ICQ6 in your contact list now - we won’t let the evil AOL change our habits :)
The way is easier than cheburek -koshek.net , ugh, toonel.net . Download this archive with a portable version. Unpack, run. Who does not trust me - download the installer from offsite.
We check that there are no unnecessary configurations in the ports tab :
For QIP2005:
Launch QIP, select "Connection Settings" in the menu :
Select the type of proxy“Http (s)” , we enter localhost as the address, and the port is 8090 (or the one you specified in the toonel settings):
Фё. Connect, as if nothing had happened.
For Miranda:
Launch Miranda, climb into Settings -> Network -> [Connect to ICQ server]
Put a tick “Use proxy”, type HTTPS, host localhost, port 8090 (or whatever entered), check “Use DNS on proxy” too .
PS sorry, sinful - there is not enough volyushka power to go
to jabber :) PPS for Miranda screenshot stole from here
