Montana Meth Project Social Advertising

The Montana Meth Project (MMP) organization from Montana, in my opinion, made almost the best social advertising that I saw. The advertisement is aimed at promoting the use of a popular drug among teenagers - methamphetamine , which is similar in physical effect to amphetamine .

Methamphetamine was created in 1919 by the Japanese scientist A. Ogata. In those days, he was tested in concentration camps for prisoners, received regularly by pilots, tankers, graduated in chocolates and was legal. In our country, it became popular in the years 40-60, when it began to be used in the field of psychiatry, and later when asthma potions appeared, from which the so-called “screw” was made.

Actors from MMP use special forms of this substance, they are similar to crystals, for which they are called “ice”. "Ice" is smoked through a glass pipe, which becomes the reason for the appearance of the first sign of use - burns on the fingers. In the videos and posters created by MMP, the external manifestations are displayed very realistically. Seeing this, not a single person in their right mind would want their teeth to collapse and his skin covered with restless, itchy ulcers. Also, psychological, ethical points are touched: morality, tolerance, friendship, hopes and regrets.
