New version of Google Chrome - dev 2.0.156.1



    Dev version 2.0.156.1. Official release notes , and an official blog post .

    Major change: new WebKit (from 525 upgraded to 528). Thanks to the new webkit, in particular, we received:
    • Smooth scrolling with the middle mouse button
    • Full Page Zoom
    • AutoFill Forms
    • New CSS Properties
    In addition to the webkit:
    • Built-in Greasemonkey enable instructions ; not all scripts work yet due to security restrictions
    • Import bookmarks from Google Bookmarks
    • Docking windows to the sides of the screen
    To update to this version, you must re-switch to Dev Channel using the channel change utility .
