Linux From Scratch 6.4
After the news on LOR about the release of LFS 6.4, there was a burning desire to feel the matter with pens.
Yesterday I finally set it: everything works, the network went up, etc.
Further, in theory, you need to put in a package management system, but having estimated what time it will pour out, I realized that it’s easier to stay on Gentoo :) It
really turns out that Linux (no matter how good it is) is not for everyone. Although I understood a little the process of identifying devices using Udev as an example, I also did a pretty good job compiling pens.
PS If anyone needs a stage, please contact, as I’m not going to delete it yet. The entire system with a compiled core for its iron takes up a little more than 100 MiB in the tarball. Compiled without any flags, everything is defaulted.
