Beeline broadcasts a mobile base station
On October 8, VimpelCom (Beeline TM) held a press conference in Moscow at which it introduced a new type of equipment for providing communication in crowded places - a mobile base station (MBS).
A mobile base station is a set of radio transmitting devices installed on a KAMAZ truck. When deployed, it forms a standard cellular radiotelephone network of the GSM 900/1800 and UMTS 2100 standard, providing uninterrupted radio communications to subscribers in the conditions of insufficient capacity of stationary cellular networks.

According to Nikolai Nifontov, Technical Director of VimpelCom for the Moscow Region, MBS is completely autonomous (the complex includes a diesel-electric station), can use radio-relay, laser and satellite equipment to connect to a cellular network, and its deployment time does not exceed an hour. The station adds approximately 200 additional voice channels to the network capacity.

PS they only need to decorate KAMAZ in bee camouflage.
